Act 00 — The practice

We build travel and booking products, and stay to run them.

Search, rates, availability, checkout and the operations behind them: we specialise in travel and booking platforms, on web and on native mobile. The same five practices — strategy and design, web and native applications, growth and distribution, rate aggregation and comparison, operations — are retained by clients in other sectors too, one at a time or all five.

Act 01 — The practices

Five practices. Our own products are built on all five.

Nothing in this set is travel-specific. Clients retain one practice or the whole sequence; travel is only where our own products happen to live.

P-01 — of five practices

Strategy, brand & product design

Positioning and naming before anything is drawn, then an identity that holds its shape everywhere it is used, and the interface design itself: the version that has to survive real users, not a presentation.

  • Positioning & naming
  • A design system that stays consistent
  • Product & interface design
  • Brand governance
P-02 — of five practices

Web & mobile applications

Production web platforms and native iOS and Android applications. The hands that designed them are the hands that release and operate them.

  • Web platforms in production
  • Native iOS & Android (one codebase)
  • Over-the-air release trains
  • Multi-language localisation
P-03 — of five practices

Growth & distribution

Search-led editorial architecture, product feeds held to whatever parity rules the channel imposes, and paid acquisition graded on contribution margin. Operated through to the first sale.

  • Editorial architecture & content engine
  • Channel & feed integrations
  • Paid acquisition on contribution margin
  • Search performance telemetry
P-04 — of five practices

Rate aggregation & comparison

Parallel supply interrogation, weighted ranking with outliers demoted, and deterministic revalidation before a price may transact. A figure that cannot be booked is never shown. The narrowest of the five practices, and the one we have taken furthest.

  • Parallel supply orchestration
  • Weighted ranking & outlier control
  • Prebook revalidation gate
  • Price-accuracy telemetry
P-05 — of five practices

Operations & support

The closed loop that keeps a platform honest after launch: exceptions handled to the partner’s policy, discrepancy telemetry, and an operations desk that does not sleep through an incident.

  • Cancellations, refunds & exceptions
  • Discrepancy telemetry, shared on request
  • Partner escalation paths
  • Continuous accuracy monitoring
Act 02 — The gateSTN-03 · GATE

One rule, examined at full magnification

The discipline below is not travel-specific; travel is only where we can show it at this magnification. Supply is interrogated in parallel and every surviving quote is revalidated before it may transact.

A quote that has left its freshness window never reaches checkout. Fulfilment and settlement rest with the merchant-of-record partner.

This gate is the specification. Everything else is delivery.

Act 03 — The venture

One product we commissioned from ourselves

A rate-comparison and booking platform, on the web and as native iOS and Android applications, in four languages. Named here, designed here, built here, marketed here, and operated here every day since — with no client to hide behind. It happens to be a travel product; that is the only travel-specific thing about it.

Act 04 — Terminus

For companies commissioning a product, and for counterparties with inventory to place

Two conversations end here. If you are commissioning a digital product (a name, a platform, an operation to take over), we will arrive at the first call having read your documentation. If you distribute inventory through an API or an extranet, we are extending our supply topology under staged certification. The venture itself — Edenfinder, its three working instruments and the specification you may hold us to — has a page of its own.
